Our Mission

GLOBAL PSYCHEDELIC HEALTH exists to address one of the most urgent needs of our time: to generate rigorous scientific knowledge about how psychedelic molecules — especially DMT — may transform mental health and offer new pathways of healing for depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Our mission is threefold:

1. To advance science through serious and ethical clinical research.

We conduct controlled studies that follow the highest international standards of methodology, safety, and transparency.
Our goal is to objectively understand how psychotherapy and DMT can interact to produce deep and long-lasting psychological change.

2. To integrate ancestral wisdom with modern scientific knowledge.

We acknowledge the millennia-old traditions of the Amazon and the cultural influence of Santo Daime, honoring the principles of respect, safety, and responsibility in the use of psychedelic substances.
We believe modern science has much to learn from these traditions — when they are studied correctly, ethically, and collaboratively.

3. To contribute to a more human future in mental health.

We work to build a world where fewer people remain trapped in chronic emotional suffering.
A world where new therapeutic models are accessible, effective, and evidence-based.
A world where research helps shape more innovative, compassionate, and inclusive mental-health policies.

What guides us

We are driven by the conviction that science fulfills its purpose only when it serves human well-being.
We are driven by the responsibility to investigate what may truly change lives.
We are driven by the hope of offering answers where many have found only limitations.

Global Psychedelic Health is more than a scientific project.

It is a movement for new possibilities of healing.
A bridge between tradition, science, and human transformation.

Our Research

Exploring New Frontiers

Our research focuses on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, such as DMT, to treat mental health conditions. We combine psychedelic substances with psychotherapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our work is conducted in controlled environments, prioritizing safety and ethics.

Our study: The Central Question

Population: 60 people divided into 2 groups of 30. Each group will have 15 female participants and 15 male participants.

Our investigation seeks to answer a single guiding question: Can psychotherapy combined with DMT-assisted sessions produce clinically meaningful and sustained improvements in depression, anxiety, and trauma when compared to psychotherapy with placebo?

We aim to provide rigorous, controlled scientific evidence that clarifies whether DMT can enhance therapeutic outcomes, accelerate emotional recovery, and support long-term mental-health stability.

Our Study: Design & Hypothesis

Each group of 30 will be subdivided into the following conditions: Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma.

Group A will have psychotherapy sessions for 6 months accompanied by placebo intake at 3 different times.

Group B will have psychotherapy sessions for 6 months accompanied by Ayahuasca (a DMT provider) intake at 3 different times.

We hypothesize that participants receiving DMT-assisted psychotherapy will show faster, stronger, and longer-lasting improvements in depressive, anxious, and trauma-related symptoms compared to those receiving psychotherapy with placebo.

We expect enhanced cognitive flexibility, deeper emotional processing, and more stable long-term outcomes at 4- and 6-month follow-ups.

Our study proposes that integrating DMT experiences within psychotherapy may amplify therapeutic change.

Our Study: Impact

We will leave our data in a free outsourced data system in order to allow universities and other research institutions to collaborate in the study or develop their own academic studies to advance scientific knowledge on this subject.

If successful, this research could reshape clinical approaches to depression, anxiety, and trauma. Our findings may support new evidence-based therapeutic models, influence mental-health policy, and open doors for future international research collaborations.

By rigorously testing DMT-assisted psychotherapy, we aim to contribute meaningful scientific insight that reduces emotional suffering and inspires more effective, human-centered mental-health interventions.
