Global Psychedelic Health was born from a simple and powerful question:

 

What if rigorous science could help unlock new, safer and more effective ways to heal depression, anxiety and trauma?

 

My name is Ricardo Moutinho Teixeira. I am 45 years old and a Psychology student who decided to go back to university during the Covid-19 pandemic. While many people were trying to survive emotionally, I made myself a promise: "if I ever had the chance, I would dedicate my work to improving mental health for as many people as possible."

 

Today, that promise has become reality.

 

Global Psychedelic Health is an international research initiative focused on the scientific study of psychedelics, starting with Ayahuasca and DMT, and their potential impact on mental well-being.

Across the world, millions of people still suffer from depression, anxiety and trauma, even after trying conventional treatments. At the same time, clinical and observational studies are beginning to show that psychedelic-assisted therapies may offer hope for those who have not found relief elsewhere.

 

But there is still a huge gap:

 

- We need more and better data,  

- We need clear, transparent and ethical research,  

- We need science that can speak both to professionals and to the general public.

 

This campaign is about building that bridge.

 

We are not promoting quick fixes or miracle cures.  

We are building a serious, methodologically robust research project that can contribute real evidence to the global scientific conversation about psychedelics and mental health.
